I am excited to be starting my second year teaching Year 6 at St Joseph's. I am Key Stage 2 lead and also lead English and Music across school. I enjoy all aspects of teaching and particularly enjoy sharing my love of reading and music.
Outside school, I can often be found running, walking up a hill or reading. I am looking forward to seeing what the new year brings.

Hello!
I am very excited about the opportunity to teach in Year 5 and develop positive relationships with the children. I enjoy learning new skills and applying them to the classroom setting.
In June 2022, I had an amazing opportunity to go to France and equip myself with new skills to teach French in school. I can’t wait to share what I have learnt in Year 5. I am looking forward to leading Philosophy for Children this year (P4C).
When I am not at school, I like to spend time with my family and our dog Ted. As a family we enjoy camping, swimming and hiking. Every year, I challenge myself to a 26-mile Mighty Hike to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. When I have time to myself, I like to read. I particularly enjoy crime-thrillers.

Welcome to Year 5 and 6! This will be my fifth year of teaching in a key stage two classroom and my second year teaching at St Joseph's. I love all aspects of learning and I am eager to share my passion for history, art, reading and architecture with my year fives and sixes.
In my spare time, I enjoy walking, running and starting DIY projects at home. I can't wait to see what the new school year brings!

Welcome to Year 5 and 6!

We are all excited about the Autumn Term when we will be learning all about Mayan Civilisation. The Year 5 and 6 teachers have planned lots of exciting lessons including opportunities to learn outside of the classroom.

The topics that we have planned this year are going to be very exciting and will provide plenty opportunities for us to be creative. For more curriculum information, keep coming back to the website and you can read our posts on Twitter. If you are able to help with any aspect of our learning please speak to the class teacher.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Year 5 and 6 team or email the main office.
