Miss Raymond

Miss Raymond

This is my eighth year teaching at St Joseph's and I feel very excited about taking on a new challenge this year as KS1/ EYFS Lead. Alongside this role I will continue to lead English, Achievement For All and Pupil Premium. Outside school, I enjoy playing piano and guitar, playing tennis and reading. I also love to spend time with my family and friends.

Miss Howard

This will be my first year teaching at St Joseph’s and I am very much looking forward to starting my teaching journey in year 1.
I like to spend my free time baking, spending time with my family and keeping active at the gym! I also love music, drama and dance and enjoy watching musical theatre productions.
I feel very lucky to be a part of the team here at St Joseph’s, and I can’t wait to see where the next year will take us!

Mrs Christie

Welcome to Years 1 and 2! My name is Mrs Christie, and this will be my first year teaching at St Joseph's Catholic Primary. I am incredibly excited to be joining such a fantastic school filled with extraordinary charm and an ethos which holds the children at its heart. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and watching good old Netflix! I am very much looking forward to this upcoming year and what it has in store for us.

Welcome to the Year 1/2 team -

We're looking forward to a very busy Autumn Term learning all about castles and homes which will include constructing our own castles, designing our own coat of arms and having a medieval banquet among other exciting things! We are particularly looking forward to having much more time in Forest School and learning outside the classroom. We have lots of visits planned for the Autumn Term and are all excited about our upcoming whole school visit. All the classes are already practising some musical performances for our 50th Anniversary Celebrations. Watch this space for more information...

Online games will be available each Friday on Abacus for your child to practise their Maths skills. Spellings will also be sent home to learn each Friday and children are expected to read with an adult at least three times each week. We also have some whole school projects to look forward to this term. Thankyou for your help and support with your child's learning.

As always, we are all here to help and if you have any questions or would like to speak to a member of the teaching team please come and see us on the playground or email the office or call to make an appointment.
