Miss Hilditch

This will be my 7th year teaching at St Joseph's after completing a placement as a PGCE student and never wanting to leave!
During my time at school I have taught across all key stages and this year will be teaching in Reception and I am excited to continue to lead the EYFS team!
I love working in the Early Years - it is an exciting and fun filled environment which suits my personality.
I am also responsible for leading Art and Design in school, the Raising Aspirations work in school and this year I am really looking forward to working with other staff to support the teaching of RE in school.
I am returning to school full time this year after completing my MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and hope to support children across school with emotional support as well as their educational and spiritual development!
When I am not in school you are most likely to find me in the kitchen baking various cakes and bakes or walking my lovely black Labrador, Sophie or my new very big and beautiful rescue dog, Athos!
I am looking forward to this year and can't wait to get to know you all - if I can help with anything please let me know.

This is my 4th year teaching at St Joseph's. I am really excited to be back in Nursery this year as Early Years is my passion!
I am the Modern Foreign Languages and PE lead this year! I am hopeful that we can finally get to France for the KS2 trip and I look forward to all of the sporting competitions we will be competing in too.
When I'm not in school you can usually find me at the gym, on long walks with my family, baking or enjoying a musical theatre show!

This is my 1st year as an Early Careers Teacher at St.Joseph’s. I have been working at St.Joseph’s since 2019 as a TA across different year groups. I qualified as a Teacher in 2017 and this year when the opportunity arose to teach in Reception at a school I know and love, I jumped at the chance! I am Assistant PE Lead this year, I really enjoy attending sports competitions with all the year groups.
When I am not in school I am likely to be found taxiing my children to and from football, ballet and guides! I like to spend time with my family and our dog Ted, taking in long walks in the Cheshire countryside and then cosying up on the sofa to watch a family movie. Every year I like to challenge myself, in previous years completing the Peak District and Lake District Mighty Hike (26 miles) to raise money for Macmillan. This year I will be taking on the Giants Causeway Mighty Hike…I am very excited!

Welcome to the Early Years!

This year we are looking forward to supporting the children's learning through meaningful play experiences.

We are passionate about giving the children meaningful experiences which help them develop understanding in all areas of their development.

Our P.E Days - on these days children will need to arrive at school in their P.E kit. Both Recpetion classes have PE on a Wednesday afternoon.

This half term (Summer 1 ) our topic is "We're all going on a summer holiday!"

We are exploring the beach, the sea and places we might like to go on holiday to!
