Year 3 and 4 2023 - 2024

Mr Lewis

Welcome to Year 3 and 4! This is now my ninth year of teaching, eight of which have been in Key Stage Two. I enjoy many aspects of teaching and learning, in particular learning outside the classroom, science and topic. This year we have some exciting topics to cover, which I am sure will be enjoyed by all.
Outside of school, I enjoy night fishing, walking, running and bird watching. I am really looking forward to starting a new year and getting to know my new class.

Hi and welcome to Mr Ellam's class!

I am delighted to be teaching in Year 4 this year. I am beginning my fifth full year at St Joseph's, but did some supply teaching here before that.
As well as teaching Year 4, I am also responsible for Gifted, Able and Talented and Equal Opportunities within school.

Outside of school, I love the outdoors - something that I get to take advantage of, in my role as a Scout leader. I enjoy reading and watching football - I support Crewe Alexandra but I am also a boardmember at new club AFC Crewe.

I am looking forward to working in Year 4 and seeing where our learning adventures take us.

I am new to St. Joseph’s and I am really looking forward to being a part of the school family. This will be my seventh year teaching in KS2 and I have just returned from Madrid, Spain where I have been teaching in an international school for the past four years. I am very excited about the upcoming year and all of the fun learning experiences that we will have in Year 3.
When I am not in school, I enjoy reading, running, drinking tea and decorating my new house. I love to travel and experience different cultures and have visited many countries around the world! I am very passionate about teaching art, history, geography and languages and I am really looking forward to sharing these passions with Year 3.

Welcome to Year 3 and 4!

We are all looking forward to the year ahead, we have so many exciting things planned, lots of great trips and some very engaging topics. We know we are all going to have lots of fun and learn a lot along the way.

We will be regularly updating our website page so keep a look out for what we have been up to. We will also keep you updated with in the moment pictures via Twitter and Facebook.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Year 3 and 4 team.
