Year 3 and 4 2021 - 2022

Miss Bennett

Welcome to Year 4, I have been teaching at St Joseph's for 14 years now. As well as leading Key Stage 2 I am responsible for Mathematics, Assessment and Behaviour, all of which I am very passionate about. Looking at our topics I am positive the upcoming year is going to be filled with lots of laughter and new learning experiences.

Outside of school I love reading anything and will happily spend a whole weekend sat on the couch with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and an adventure book.
During the holidays I adore travelling around Europe and the United Kingdom, often finding interesting places to take photographs.

Miss Bennett

This is my second year of teaching at St. Joseph's. For 9 years I have been a teaching assistant working throughout school. I am supporting Miss Raymond with Pupil Premium this year and I am looking forward to the upcoming year and all the exciting experiences that our children will be involved in.
Outside of school I love kayaking on the River Weaver or the River Dee with my dad. I also love to spend time with my family and friends.

Mr Matthew

My name is Mr Matthew and this will be my second year at St Joseph's. During my first year, I taught Year 5 and this year I am going to be teaching Year 6 which is something that I am really looking forward to.

While it was a bit of a strange ending to the last school year, I am really looking forward to getting back in the classroom and teaching again. Those of you who know me will know that I particularly love maths and take joy in seeing my students go from not understanding something to gaining a complete understanding. I also love P.E. and run a dodgeball club during the year.

When I am not in school, I am usually playing or watching football. I am a keen Liverpool supporter (Champions 2019-2020) and follow them very closely. I also really enjoy films and music.

I've taught the majority of my new class before so I am looking forward to hearing all about what you have been up to during summer but I am also really keen to get to know the new children in my class whom I have never had the pleasure of teaching before.

Welcome to Year 3 and 4!

We are all looking forward to the year ahead, we have so many exciting things planned, lots of great trips and some very engaging topics. We know we are all going to have lots of fun and learn a lot along the way.

We will be regularly updating our website page so keep a look out for what we have been up to. We will also keep you updated with in the moment pictures via Twitter and Facebook.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the Year 3 and 4 team.
