People Who Help Us!

Date: 24th Oct 2016 @ 7:53pm

We have had a very exciting few weeks where we have been learning all about the people who help us in our community.

The week before last we had a lovely visit from Father Simon who told us all about himself and answered some very original questions.  I think he managed to answer all of the tricky questions and the children now know a lot more about Father Simon and the work he carries out in our community.

Last week we were amazed to see a real life police car close up.  We were able to ask questions and amaze the policeman with all of our knowledge about the work they do and especially about our phenomenal knowledge of traffic lghts!

This week we have already gotten off to a flying start with a visit from Mr Thorpe who told us all about Forest Schools.  We are very excited to have our turn at building dens, making fires and having marshmallows and hot chocolate!

Tomorrow we are off to Delamere where we will get to meet a real life Forest Ranger who will show us some new and intersting things.  We will also be sure to say a big "thank you" to the bus driver who we are sure will work hard to get us safely to and from Delamere.

Our School is a family of faith, hope, love, fun and learning for all
