Miss Bennett
Welcome to Year 6, I have been teaching at St Joseph's for 19 years now. As well as teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, I am one of the Assistant Headteachers, with responsibility for Mathematics, Assessment and Behaviour, all of which I am very passionate about. Looking at our topics I am positive the upcoming year is going to be filled with lots of laughter and new learning experiences.
Outside of school, I love reading anything and will happily spend a whole weekend sat on the couch with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and an adventure book. During the holidays, I adore travelling around Europe and the United Kingdom, often finding interesting places to take photographs

I am starting my fourth year at St Joseph’s and couldn’t be happier staying in the Year 5 class to continue preparing the children for Year 6. We have a strong team in upper key stage two with a wide range of expertise.
Outside of school I enjoy travelling, kick boxing and being from the Lake District - hiking.

Welcome to Year 5/6
I am now in my ninth year of teaching at St Joseph's and I am excited to be back in Year 5/6 where I first started my teaching journey.
In addition to teaching in UKS2, I will continue to be responsible for Science, PEPs and Pupil Premium across our school.
Away from school you will often find me enjoying time with my family or relaxing with a good book.
Welcome to Year 5 and 6!
We are all excited about the new academic year, we will be taking a journey through History starting with the Anglo Saxons and the Vikings.
The Year 5 and 6 teachers have planned lots of exciting lessons including opportunities to learn outside of the classroom.
