Miss Bennett
Welcome to Year 5/6, I have been teaching at St Joseph's for 18 years now. As well as teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, I am one of the Assistant Headteachers, with responsibility for Mathematics, Assessment and Behaviour, all of which I am very passionate about. Looking at our topics I am positive the upcoming year is going to be filled with lots of laughter and new learning experiences. Outside of school I love reading anything and will happily spend a whole weekend sat on the couch with a steaming cup of hot chocolate and an adventure book. During the holidays I adore travelling around Europe and the United Kingdom, often finding interesting places to take photographs
Miss Raymond
I am excited to be teaching in Year 6 at St Joseph's. As well as teaching in Key Stage 2, I am one of the Assistant Headteachers and also lead English, Students and Music across school. I enjoy all aspects of teaching and particularly enjoy sharing my love of reading and music.
Outside school, I can often be found running, walking up a hill or reading. I am looking forward to seeing what the new year brings.
Mr Sutton
This is my third year teaching at St Joseph's, and I am very excited to be working as the Year 5 teacher! I have been teaching for five and a half years and I am eager to share my love of geography, science, sport and history with the children. I know that the upcoming year will be filled with fantastic learning experiences and learning opportunities.
Outside of school, I like keeping fit by boxing and hiking. I also enjoy traveling with my fiancée as we both love geography.
Welcome to Year 5 and 6!
We are all excited about the Autumn Term when we will be learning all about the Mayans and an Alpine Region.
During the Spring Term, we will learn all about the Ancient Greeks and Changes in Our Local Environment.
In Summer, we will be learning about the Impact of the War and Protecting the Environment.
The Year 5 and 6 teachers have planned lots of exciting lessons including opportunities to learn outside of the classroom.
