Year 3 and 4 2026 - 2027
Mrs Bryan
Hello! My name is Emma Bryan, and I’m proud to be the Nursery teacher here at St. Joseph’s. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of each child’s first experience of school, helping them settle in, grow in confidence, and develop a real love for learning.
I have a strong passion for early years education and believe that a warm, supportive and engaging environment is key to helping children thrive. In our Nursery classroom, we learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences that spark curiosity and build strong foundations for future learning.
One of the most rewarding parts of my role is building positive relationships with children and their families. I aim to create a space where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to come to school each day. It’s a joy to watch them grow socially, emotionally, and academically during this important year.
Ms Mackey
I’m really looking forward to working in Year 3/4 and getting to know you all this year. I love creating a classroom where everyone feels valued, confident, and excited to learn.
Outside of school, I enjoy paddle boarding, exploring new places, and travelling whenever I can. I also spent time living in Australia, which inspired my love of adventure and the outdoors. When I’m not out exploring, I love taking my dog for long walks — he keeps me active and always makes me smile.
I can’t wait to share a fantastic year of learning, creativity, and fun with you.
Mr Ellam
Hi and welcome to Mr Ellam's class!
I am excited to be teaching in Reception this year. I am beginning my sixth full year as part of the St Joseph's family.
As well as teaching in Reception, I am also responsible for Computing, More-able Learners and Equal Opportunities within school.
Outside of school, I love the outdoors - something that I get to take advantage of, in my role as a Scout leader. I enjoy reading and watching football - I support Crewe Alexandra but I am also a board-member at new club AFC Crewe.
I am looking forward to working in Foundation Stage and seeing where our learning adventures take us.
Welcome to Year 3 and 4!
