Miss Howard

Miss Howard

Hello!

This is my 7th year teaching at St Joseph's and will be teaching in Reception again this year and leading the Early Years! I love working in the Early Years because every day is different, we learn through play and we always have so much fun!

Across school I am also Modern Foreign Languages and Global Links lead, I am super excited to continue to develop a love of languages across school.

When I am not in school, I can usually be found baking for friends and family, going for long walks or keeping fit in the gym!

I’m excited to begin my third year at St Joseph’s and my second year teaching in Nursery. I love working within the EYFS because we have so much fun every day! It's such a privilege to be part of the children's first experience of school.
This year I will be undertaking an NPQSENCO qualification, so will be supporting teachers and families with queries and concerns regarding special educational needs within the Early Years. I will also be leading Design and Technology across school again as well as advocating for Children's Rights and continuing our journey as a “Rights Respecting” school. The Right’s Ambassadors and I will have lots of news and updates on this throughout the year, so watch this space!
Outside of school I am Mum to two football-mad boys, and I also love to spend time with my very energetic spaniel, Luna.

Hi and welcome to Mr Ellam's class!

I am excited to be teaching in Reception this year. I am beginning my sixth full year as part of the St Joseph's family.
As well as teaching in Reception, I am also responsible for Computing, More-able Learners and Equal Opportunities within school.

Outside of school, I love the outdoors - something that I get to take advantage of, in my role as a Scout leader. I enjoy reading and watching football - I support Crewe Alexandra but I am also a board-member at new club AFC Crewe.

I am looking forward to working in Foundation Stage and seeing where our learning adventures take us.

Welcome to the Early Years!

We have so many exciting topics and experiences planned for our children this year and we can't wait to begin our learning journey together! We know we are going to have so much fun!
