Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

In September 2014 the implementation of the new Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice 2014 became a statutory duty of schools.

St Joseph's has rewritten the SEND policy in light of the changes and the school's SEND Information Report can be accessed via the link below.

If your child has a diagnosis of Autism, an application form for an Attention Card is available on ChAPs. This card can be shown to emergency services to explain the person owning the card should be treated as a vulnerable person.
